Tonight I went to see Deafheaven and Hierophant, it was cool as shit! Hierophant are ragin’ as fuck and Deafheaven are just something else live. End Reign obviously nailed it and provided the best gig moment by playing a cover of ‘Wolverine Blues’ by Entombed. Definitely need to check out Black Mass because they sounded like they might actually be really fucking good!

Very true, but no one does it to the extent us and the Greeks do. Other Euros definitely don’t have the same flair and complexity as us, that’s for sure!

The life of a postgraduate student is definitely far from glamorous or carefree. A further example of that is the fact that I have to spend my sunday writing my MA dissertation proposal. Which is about 3 pages long, has to include a working bibliography and a breakdown of chapters. UGH!

Only downside is the fact that my denim represents ungodly ugly heavy music....

Sadly not, but it looks like it’s definitely going to go that way. In a couple of week’s time it should be a pretty damn solid beard. Picture to follow later today to document what it looks like after just a week growth, so you can see for yourself!

I am finally back home after some of the most lovely few days in quite a long time. i haven’t been home for more than three hours since Wednesday but I don’t care that much at all because I’ve spent them hanging out with a very lovely girl. Life Update
Quite a few things have happened in the past couple of weeks and quite a few changes are on the horizon, some big some small.
My attempt at growing a beard is going ridiculously well and I think this time I can actually go the whole way rather than chicken out;
I’ve made the decision of staying to live in Manchester after my MA is up. Still don’t know what the fuck I want to know but...
